Das verschlossene Glasgef\u00e4\u00df anschlie\u00dfend 3 bis 4 Wochen lang an  einen warmen Ort stellen. Danach wird abfiltriert und verkostet. Ist Ihnen der Geschmack zu  intensiv oder zu s\u00fc\u00df, so muss mit weiterem Korn verd\u00fcnnt werden. Tritt der umgekehrte Fall ein, und der Geschmack ist noch zu &#8222;d\u00fcnn&#8220;, so m\u00fcsste der Ansatz mit frisch eingeschnittenen \u00c4pfeln wiederholt werden. F\u00fcr den Apfelkorn eignen sich besonders geschmackvolle, s\u00e4uerliche \u00c4pfel, z. B. ein noch ein wenig unreifer James Grive.
