Die Zwiebeln in Achtel schneiden. Beides portionsweise in eine Tajine oder eine Tonpfanne in reichlich Oliven\u00f6l geben geben und jeweils anbraten bis alles einen goldenen Farbton angenommen hat. Dann alles zusammen in die Tonpfanne geben und die gesch\u00e4lten und grobzerteilten Tomaten und den gr\u00fcnen Paprika in Streifen geschnitten oder die entkernten halbierten Chili dazugeben. Im Ofen 1 Stunde bei 180-200 Grad garen.<br \/>\nVon Zeit zu Zeit evtl. etwas Wasser angiessen, falls der Sud zu sehr reduziert ist. Nach einer Stunde den Sellerie in feinen Scheibchen und die Oliven und den Safran untermengen. Nochmals 30 Minuten garen lassen. Zuletzt die grobgehackte Petersilie oder Koriander unterheben.<\/p>\n<p>Evtl. mit Zitronensaft abschmecken, ganz nach Belieben. Gekochte Kichererbsen k\u00f6nnen erg\u00e4nzend hinzugef\u00fcgt werden.
